As promised. We did not win first place but we all have no regrets. We did our best and it was a fun experience (especially the fun questions). We ranked fourth place. If you take into consideration the whole event, we are fourth out of the fifty-three schools that joined and I find that a big deal already. We went to Alabang Insular Life and the theater was nice. We had our usual picture taking galore (available in multiply soon). During the contest itself, we were actually calmer. We answered a question, which I believe defines what Augustinians really are. The question was (it was a long one, this is the short-cut version) “Three malls in the Philippines are known to be part of the Top 9 biggest malls in Asia , one is ranked 3rd, the other 5th and the last is 8th. What are those three malls?” Haha. And guess what? We got that question right! SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and SM North Edsa. Truly, we are Augustinians! Save us the Science and Math questions because if those type of questions were asked, we would have probably won. :p Nonetheless, I had a great time! Plus, we won 20,000 won for answering 2 fun questions after the real contest. Thanks to Juni and his probability skills and to our good lucky powers because we were suppose to guess how many languages does speak and we all agreed with a no. which was 4 and we were right! Oh yeah, Paolo Villena went with us too. I guess, he’s the Olympiad-in-trainee for next year!
After the contest, we went to eat dinner in KFC and then were dropped off in Glorietta. It was weird because Juni, Jo and I were all in uniform in the mall at around 7 pm. People were looking but we really did not care. Haha! Then, Jo and I went to SM just to surf around because we were both waiting for our sundos.
I am planning to bake tom. Yey! Periodical tests this week and I need to study. :p But right now, I had enough of studying. Every weekend seems like I am studying and I am tired of it. I need a break. (I need kitkat. Haha. Kidding! I know, I still have the energy to be corny. :p) I need to go out! Sadly, I do not have time to go out because it is a Sunday tomorrow and still lots of things to do. *sigh* Oh well, that is life. That is my life.
